We long learnt that not making effort, not trying will not get any outcome. But sometimes the issue is not about not trying, rather it's all about trying too hard, so hard that it hurt, so hard that efforts were all in vain, so hard that maybe letting go was the only way out... yet it is never the easiest to act upon.
